Keesha Sharp
The actress can be seen in Tyler Perry's smash hit, Why Did I Get Married. Alongside Perry along with Janet Jackson as well as indie film Frozen Peas, and Born Guilty. Other film credits for her include The 636 (for which she was awarded the title of Best Actress during the 2014 NYLA International Film Festival), Shattered! Never Die Alone, American Adobo, as well as American Adobo. Following her graduation from Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Keesha chose to pursue a career in the theatre industry after graduating from Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Fine Arts. She was a part of the Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted off-Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and had eight characters in the interactive comedy Eat the Runt. Other theatrical performances included Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha read along with playwright August Wilson himself. Keesha is also the director of several episodes of "Lethal Weapon", Are We There Yet? and the three short films One Day, Lillian, and Half Off. Keesha is working on several projects are in development, including Clean The Brit & Broken Doll. She is currently working on her first full-length album following her smash album "Santa Baby."
