Dennings was with her "2 Broke Girls" co-star, Nick Zano, from 2011 to the year 2014. After their relationship ended her relationship with Nick Zano, she started dating Josh Groban. They stayed together until the year 2016. Dennings first began to date musician Andrew W.K. in 2021. The couple began to date at the beginning of 2021, and later announced their wedding date for May. Dennings had been of been a fan of the artist since 2014. Dennings was Jewish but has said that religion is not a part of her daily routine. Her interests include painting or reading books, as well as gardening. When she was a child her initial intention to enter the art institute was thwarted after a devastating flood destroyed the majority of her art work.
